Swatched my entire collection!
So I used the pack of color wheels I bought at Sally's to do swatches of every individual color. I got tired of looking at my tackle box of polish and not remembering what certain polishes looked like. Plus this lets me swatch my new colors so I don't have to be in such a rush to wear them to figure out what they look like. Sarah from The Giveaway Lifestyle and Tracy from The TraceFace Philes are probably going to want to buy about a hundred nail wheels I even did my stripers (btw, Sinful Colors stripers SUCK. I also had to mark each nail with a little abbreviation because as it turns out I own a lot of very similar colors. It also helped me realize a few bottles I could get rid of. I did strictly 2 coats of each color so I had a definitive idea of how they cover....

As far as softening your lips i would say its just your usual lip balm , it does its job but not to a miracle level like some other lip balms do. I recommend this for those days were you dont wear lipstick but want a bit of life to your lips. The color of the lip balm is almost like a frost color and when applied to your lips just leaves a pearl like shine. You know that lip balm that over applies product and your sat rubbing your lips together so they are not that cakey. I appear to have fallen in love with YSL lipsticks . They are so pigmented with just one swatch and if you dont believe me go to your local counter that sells YSL and test them out, thats what testers are for. This lip balm has a pearly, shimmer like finish to it , i would say. Even though the stick itself is quite hard when applied to your lips just enough product kind of 'melts' off so you evenly distribute it, if you know what i mean. This specific lipstick has a berry like smell to it and comes in a dark......
