Country evening helps cancer support cause

Joe Marra, representing the Cancer Support Community, thanked the Blakeleys for hosting the event. DJ and host Tom Blakeley became Chef Tom as he and Lisa served brisket, pulled pork, grilled chicken, baked beans, potato salad, and macaroni and cheese. As the silent auction closed, the live auction started with fierce bidding wars for several pieces of artwork by artists G. Harvey, Buddy Ebsen and Susan Rios as well as dinner for eight at the Blakeleys and a Las Vegas getaway. Tom and Lisa Blakeley welcomed guests to their Panther Ridge home for "Searching for a Cure . Under the Stars," on Dec. More than 150 guests attended the first-time event hosted by Blakeley & Associates Realty. The night kicked off with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, and guests placed bids on silent auction items and purchased tickets for a chance to win their share of the $247.
